Parade Entry Form
|When:||Friday, July 20, 2018, 6:00 pm (rain date of Sunday, July 22, 2018, 1:30 pm|
|Line Up:||Mayville High School parking lot beginning one hour prior to parade time|
|Fee:||No cost to businesses, organizations, and churches $20 fee to political candidates in advance / $40 day of parade (this fees helps pay for parade expenses, trophies, and ribbons|
|Prizes:||Trophies for Best of Parade, Best Theme, Best Vehicle, and Best Tractor|
Please, no throwing of candy or other items due to the safety concerns of parade spectators, especially children. Candy and other items may be handed out by participants on foot.
The parade entrant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Village of Mayville, Michigan’s Mayville Sunflower Festival, Mayville Community Schools, and the event’s officials, volunteers, representatives, and agents from any claim, demand, suit, loss, cost, or any damage which may be asserted, claimed, or recovered against or from the Village of Mayville, Michigan’s Mayville Sunflower Festival, and Mayville Community Schools by reason of any damage to property, personal injury, or bodily injury, including death, sustained by any person whatsoever and which damage, injury, or death that arises out of or is incident to or in any way connected with the performance of this contract and regardless of which claim, demand, loss, or cost is caused in whole or part by the negligence of entrant or by third parties, their agents, servants, employees, or factors of any of them.
