The Mayville Police & Fire Department wish everyone a Safe and Happy Halloween. For the safety of all our small residents, the Village will hold Trick or Treating on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 between the hours of 6 pm –7pm. Fire Whistle will blow to signify the beginning and the end of trickor-treating. Mayville Fire Department will be passing out Glow Sticks at the Mayville Fire Hall beginning at 5:00 p.m. Candy Inspection will be at Bodeis Park immediately following Trick-or-Treating, or at the Fire Department in case of inclement weather. Hot Dogs and Hot Cocoa will also be available. Please be safe and enjoy the evening.
In Addition to the Village of Mayville’s regular Trick-or-Treat activities come join us for our Trunk-or-Treat Halloween event in Downtown Mayville! This year we will be hosting a decorating contest/costume contest for our Trunkers! Come on down and decorate your vehicle and wear a costume for a chance to win some money!! $50.00 for 1st Place, $30 for 2nd Place, and $20 for 3rd Place will be awarded to the best decorated Vehicle/Trunk Team!!! Fulton Street will close for Trunk-or-Treat setup at 4:30 pm. Judging will take place at 5:30 pm. Make sure you bring enough candy!!! (Candy Donations are Welcome and Appreciated, as well!!)
